This is a hybrid flower seen mostly in gardens. The binomial name is quite peculiar that is Clematis 'Nelly Moser'. It belongs to the plant family Ranunculaceae. Common name of the flower is Clematis, Clematis 'Nelly Moser', etc.
Clematis 'Nelly Moser' is a woody vine plant. A leaflet comprises with three lens shaped leafs. Leafs are having narrow at tip and slightly broader at base. Glossy leafs are green in color. Young leafs are coffee colored. Leafs resembles the cinnamon leafs.
Clematis 'Nelly Moser' brings very attractive showy flowers. Flowers are medium sized and single. A flower usually has 8 lens shaped rosy-white colored petals. Each Clematis 'Nelly Moser' petals are having a mauve line from the base to tip of the petal. Flowers are very durable and last for a week.
Being a hybrid flower means Clematis 'Nelly Moser' is an attractive garden flower. I use to see this flower blooming during autumn and winter (but usually an spring and summer bloomer) in Botanic garden in Ireland. They are very very beautiful and hard to ignore.
