Name of the beautiful flowering plant is Beach Spider Lily (also known as Spider lily). Botanical name of the plant is Hymenocallis littoralis. This plant belongs to the palnt family Amaryllidaceae. It is native to the Mexico and Central America. Now a days this lily flower is a popular ornamental plant because of its attractive aromatic flower.

Beach spider lily (Hymenocallis littoralis) is a perennial evergreen plant that is is very suitable for indoor ornamental plant. This plant can sustain in low sunlight. This bulbous plant can grow up to 3 feet in height having dark green stripe like leafs. This plant mainly propagates using the bulb. By separating a mature bulb you can easily grow a new plant.

Beach spider lily (Hymenocallis littoralis) brings white flower and has spider like long petals. The center of the flower is having a shape of beautiful cup (looks like a white web). The filament is stuck inside the petals and then extended further. It holds the yellow stamen at the top. The flower has an attractive fragrance, some people call this similar to vanilla. Flower uses to bloom during summer to late autumn, but requires proper watering for perfect blooming.
