Botanical name of this plant is Phyla nodiflora. It pertains to the plant family Verbenaceae. This is native to South American region but available at our Bangladesh(বাংলাদেশ). We consider this as weed plant, but actually people cherish this weed as ornamental plant.

Its a perennial ground covering herbaceous plant. Grows very low to the ground and very fast growing. From the main root, it use to creeping and sprawling around. Glossy leafs are arranged opposite to the stem and toothed at both sides.

Flowers of this plant are inflorescence and having a shaped of egg. Flowers occur as a ring around that egg like stuff. This things grows with the time, and the ring shifted upwards with young flowers and mature flowers remain at bottom with brown dried leafs.
