কাঠ মালতি আর টগর একই ফুল... শুধু মাত্র দেখতে একটু আলাদা এই যা... গাছ, পাতা সবই দেখতে একই রকম... কিন্তু তার পরও আজকের দেয়া ছবিগুলোর মতন দেখতে টগরকে সবাই কাঠ মালতি ফুল বলেই ডাকে... এই ফুল কিছুটা মালতি লতাকে মনে করিয়ে দেবে... এইটাও একটা কারণ হতে পারে এইরকম নামকরণের.... একটু বড় ডালপালা ছড়িয়ে হয় কাঠ মালতির গাছ... পাঁচ পাপড়িওয়ালা সাদা ফুল কে দেখলেই মনে হবে পাখা, যেন সামান্য বাতাসেই ঘুরতে শুরু করে দেবে চরকির মতন...
Botanically there is no difference between Kath Maloti(কাঠ মালতি) and Togor(টগর). But the appearances of both the flower are different. Hence I am posting this flower in a different article. Its a five petaled white flower and showy.

Botanical name of Kathmaloti Ful(কাঠ মালতি ফুল) is Tabernaemontana dichotoma. It pertains to the plant family Apacynaceae.
Kath Maloti(কাঠ মালতি) grows as a shrubby plant(very small tree). Glossy leafs are slightly larger and having lovely foliage. As the plant brings lot of flowers, you'll find the ground under this tree is covered with white fallen flowers.
